Physiotherapy Department
The Physiotherapy department is open during business days from 07h00 to 17h00 and provides the following services:
Reception and identification
Patient consultation
Management of neurological pathologies:
Spinal nerve pathologies such as facial paralysis, sciatica, and carpal tunnel syndrome
Central nervous system pathologies such as spinal cord injury, stroke, post traumatic brain injury and cerebral palsy
Etc.
Management of musculoskeletal problems:
Back pain
Strains and sprains
Post-operative cases
Fractures/dislocations/subluxations after reduction
Congenital orthopedic deformities such as clubfoot
Etc.
Prevention/management of patients with disease-related complications:
Chronic diseases
Tuberculosis
Pneumonia
Bronchitis
Cerebral malaria
Etc.
Patient record management
Internal/external referral/transfer
Daily follow-up of patients
Feedback to referring clinicians
Collaboration with other clinicians
Patient health education
Home exercise program
Community outreach
